Divine You are working with She Lash & A1 Beauty to offer Shrewsbury youth the ultimate Beauty traineeship! You will be able to complete the She Lash classic beginner lash course and the level 2 nail technician course for free! You will then be offered an interview for employment or further support to set up your own business.

This beauty traineeship combines education and training and is focused on giving young people the experience that employers are looking for. You will also get the chance to gain work experience within She Lash HQ or A1 Beauty Services that will help you put what you have learnt into practice in a professional environment.

A1 Nail Tech & She Lash Classic Course Overview

• These courses will help you with finding a job or opening your own business.
• This fully funded training is available to young and unemployed people who are aged from 16 -24.
• If you are aged 19-23, the course takes 6 weeks to complete
• If you are aged 16-18, the course takes 12 weeks to complete

She Lash Classic Course Content

This course will cover everything you need to know from the anatomy & physiology of lashes to understand the theory behind everything we do & why we do it, to product knowledge, pricing, social media and of course how to lash! You will leave this course a proud and confident lash tech ready to take on your first client.

Beautician Skills

Within the course you will specialise as a nail service technician. You will learn how to carry out detailed and confident consultations with clients, choose the most appropriate services and products, and ensure you know how to deliver an outstanding service and gain a Level 2 Nail Technician Certificate accredited by VTCT.

Marketing and PR

How are you going to attract clients? Where will you advertise? Newspapers, leaflets, local magazines, social media? Make sure you have a marketing plan for the first 12 months and review it for the following year to see what worked and what didn’t. Effective advertising and marketing are vital to help create your brand image and awareness of your business.

Customer Service

How are you going to keep your clients?  Put yourself in the customer’s shoes. A great haircut or manicure may not be enough to keep customers loyal. Instead, you need to wow them with the ultimate client experience, whether that’s in their home or in the salon. Not only will this mean they enjoy each appointment but more importantly they’re likely to keep rebooking.

This is only open to individuals aged 16-24, who are unemployed, based in Shrewsbury or able to travel to Shrewsbury 3 days per week and have not completed a level 3 qualification previously.
